Together with our students, we strive for mastery of classical ballet and contemporary dance, performance experience, artistry, stage presence and academic knowledge. The perfect first step on a way to a professional career in dance.
The Prins Dries primary school offers a professional preparatory ballet education in combination with a regular curriculum based on the final attainment levels.

A unique atmosphere created in the charming, characterful Prins Dries buildings ensures that clear boundaries are coupled with genuine openness day after day. Students have an open channel of communication with anyone on the school team. The school is also a piece of home.
A school where we look out for each other. This also involves attention to sustainability and ecology. That is we are working towards! Chickens live on the playground of our school in the heart of the city, along with a tree house right next to the rainwater barrels and insect hotels. Love and respect for nature can be taught.

Parents also contribute to this enrichment. At Prins Dries they enjoy organising activities that bring parents into contact with each other and with the school.

First position, an arabesque or relevé,... at our school, dancing plays a major role. Students with a passion for ballet get the chance to follow a professional ballet programme with us. Our dancers take their first steps into the world of ballet thanks to our collaboration with the Royal Ballet School Antwerp.
