Auditions & registrations
After a successful audition, you can start in the 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th year at our school. You will follow a regular primary education curriculum as well as an intensive ballet programme. No prior knowledge is required for the audition.

A jury assesses the qualities and talents (or the developmental possibilities) of the children in terms of flexibility, physique, musicality, rhythm, expression, and more.
From the 6th primary year to1st secondary year – ballet exam and no audition
If you are enrolled at Prins Dries primary school and follow the dance lessons of the Royal Ballet School Antwerp there, you do not have to do an audition. However, you must pass your dance exam with Prins Dries at the end of the sixth year. Did you pass your dance exam? Then you are welcome to join the first year at the Royal Ballet School Antwerp.
Did you pass the audition?
Once you have passed the audition, you can enrol at our school via the registration system on ‘Meld je aan Antwerpen’. You will receive all information about the enrolment after a successful audition.
Registration at the boarding school
Is the school too far from home? Then you are welcome to stay at the Jeanne Brabants Boarding School in the centre of Antwerp.
